Exhibition by mosaicist Gérard Brand and painter Luc Dornstetter

Internationally renowned mosaicist Gérard Brand and figurative and symbolist painter Luc Dornstetter share the narthex of the Saints Pierre-et-Paul church to exhibit their work. The two artists have known each other for 40 years, but this is the first time they have exhibited together.
Their approaches are different, but they harmonize well.
Gérard Brand will present paintings and sculptures in stained glass, exploring new techniques to create a transparent, colorful and illuminated mosaic. Luc Dornstetter, a specialist in sacred art, will present a series of large panels in watercolor and tempera (an egg painting technique on wood) on the theme of music and the Bible. There will also be a series of watercolors depicting angels and the Nativity.
