Description

The story goes that Saint Odile herself made it spring forth by striking the rock. The water enabled a blind man in distress to regain his sight. Today, it is still renowned for its healing powers and many pilgrims come to drink from it and pray.
Located below the monastery, the spring is easily accessible. A pretty forest path leads to it in about ten minutes' walk (400 m, 100 m elevation gain). Those who wish can also get there by car (D33).
