Niedernai Castle for groups
Description

Just a few kilometers from Obernai, near Mont Sainte-Odile, Château de Niedernai is one of Alsace's rare lowland castles, an architectural gem spanning several centuries of history.
Built in the 10th century by the von Landsberg family, it is a remarkable site that bears witness to eight centuries of history, although only the keep of the original castle, dating from the 11th century, remains today. The building has evolved over the centuries, and served as General Leclerc's headquarters. As a result, the château is an emblematic part of Alsace's heritage.
Count and Countess Christian d'Andlau-Hombourg and their children, with the help of the Friends of the Château de Niedernai association, are working on an ambitious restoration project to return the château to its former splendor and open it to the public.
Groups of 10 or more can book a daily lunch or dinner at the château, a historical tour, wine tasting, workshops or oenology courses...
For groups and coaches, three options are available, subject to prior reservation:
- Wine tasting with château tour: €10/person.
- Exterior visit of the château with a snack (a hot or cold drink and a pastry): 15€ / person.
- Wine tasting with château tour and meal (sweet and savory tartes flambées, served with three beverages): 30€ / person.
