No.2 cross-border cycle route covering 42km. Take some time to discover the more unusual aspects of Alsace. Come and take the ferry to Rhinau and lose yourself while wandering through the magnificent exotic gardens of the Taubergiessen. Its in Rhinau, this colourful jungle is situated on German territory. One of a kind in Europe! After taking in these marvellous trails, continue your stroll by crossing the bridge at Weisweil until you reach the Ile de Rhinau on the French side. The frequent Rhine floods give the heavily protected natural environment a fascinating array of flora and fauna. When you've completed your walk, branch off towards Diebolsheim (which won a rating of 4 flowers in the French National Towns and Villages in Bloom competition) to discover the enchanting traditional architecture, with more flowers than you could find anywhere else.
