A village which does not miss the prickly one!
Indeed, Mietesheim, small village of plain located on banks of Zinsel, is indicated like the French capital of horseradish! A condiment, coming probably from Ukrainian, are very employed in east Europe and also count among the Alsatian's specialities. Neolithic and Roman lucky finds attest old occupation of the site which will become an imperial village, to the hands of the landgraves of low Alsace. With its houses of quality, this village makes party of the circuit of the picturesque villages of the Vosges of North and account in its centre one of the oldest Alsatians half-timbered houses (15th Century).
