Hiking tour to the Grand Wintersberg

Discover the summit of the Nordvogensen with the GR53, the long-distance hiking trail, which leads on the Grand Wintersberg Start in the centre of Niederbronn les Bains: Trip with the car up to the Liese source - then follow the marking. On your way you will discover the Celtic camp (marking rectangle red/white/red). From there out you have a beautiful view on the Falkensteinerbach valley. Continue to the observation tower at the summit of the Grand Wintersberg. The observation tower offers a beautiful view on the Northern Vosges, on the Black Forest and on the Palatinat. With fair weather you ca even see the Strasbourg Cathedral. At the “Col de la Liese” is the house of the walking club. Each Sunday and holiday is the house opens (from 12:00 until 18:00 clock - closed in December) and offers beverages and small restoration.
