With its pale yellow colour, this is a wine full of mystery.
Often mistaken for Pinot Blanc, although they are very different, Klevener could be the identical twin of Traminer, they look so much alike.
However, it is now widely accepted that, although retaining its special characteristics, Klevener comes from Savagnin Jaune, which is the ancestor of Gewurztraminer. Two varieties that produce fine white wines.
