Wonder Brass Ensemble concert

The Wonder Brass Ensemble, a group of 10 brass players and 1 percussionist, is well known in Alsace and more particularly in Obernai, where they have already had the opportunity to perform on 3 occasions, each time with enormous and well-deserved success.

Founded in 2000, the ensemble has been directed for almost 11 years by Lionel Haas, current Director of the Ecole Municipale de Musique, de Danse et de Dessin d'Obernai, and it is at his invitation that the WBE will perform in Obernai, as a nod to its 25 years of existence.

This prestigious ensemble, comprising 4 trumpets, 1 horn, 4 trombones, 1 tuba and 1 percussionist, has taken up the challenge of combining instrumental virtuosity with a relaxed stage presence, exploring all styles of music with talent.
Baroque, classical, jazz, pop, musical comedy, film music or original compositions, nothing can stop these musicians (most of whom are professionals), and the audience never fails to appreciate the humorous presentation of the program.

We recommend parking in the Remparts parking lot (behind and below the Salle des Fêtes), as the Salle des Fêtes parking lot is reserved for local residents during work on the Rue de Sélestat.
