Exhibition - Nativity scenes from America
Description
Every year, the Saints-Pierre-et-Paul church hosts an exhibition of nativity scenes highlighting a particular region or country. This year, it's a continent, with collector Paul Alexandre, from Muzeray in eastern France, taking you on a journey to America.
North and South America, a multi-faceted continent, reveals its cultural richness through its Christmas traditions. Explore how different American communities have adapted the Nativity to their own landscapes and beliefs, through handcrafted nativity scenes and unique creations. From exotic decors to surprising characters, each nativity scene is an invitation to dream and discover!
Nativity scenes open from Friday, November 29 to Tuesday, December 31, from 9-12 and 14-18h.
Opening at 2pm on Fridays, December 6 and 20.
This exhibition is part of the Christmas Crib Trail.
