Martine Motz takes you on a tour to discover the emblems and coats of arms of many ancient trades that adorn the doorways of the wine-growing village of Bernardswiller. She’ll then lead you through her eco-friendly vineyard to learn about her craft. Wine has many facets—before you can taste it, you have to produce it, age it, and understand it….
Back at the estate, enjoy a tasting of 6 organic wines—including a “Nature” wine—paired with a convivial, traditional Alsatian country-style meal: vegetable soup with smoked country sausage, country bread, Munster and Comté cheeses, gingerbread, and Gewürztraminer.
