"The Northern Lights have always fascinated me. I promised myself I'd see this miracle of nature as long as I was fit enough to do so. My challenge was to go off on my own, to "get out of my comfort zone". I had imagined that all I had to do was go above the Arctic Circle, at the right time of year, acquire the necessary photographic technique and click: that's all there was to it. First of all, I had to equip myself: I already had my old Duster, I needed a caravan..."
