The Christmas Treasure Hunts are back in Alsace!
In 2026, the magic of Christmas turns into a grand adventure throughout Alsace!
This year, 57 treasure hunts are being offered in Alsatian towns and villages, from November 21, 2026, to January 6, 2027.

A Grand Quest Centered on the Alsatian Christmas Flame
For this new edition, all the treasure hunts are united by a common theme: the legend of the Alsatian Christmas Flame.
According to legend, the Flame mysteriously shattered into a multitude of Christmas Shards, scattered to the four corners of Alsace.
A mission now awaits adventurers: set out in search of these precious shards!
Each town offers its own adventure, story, and puzzles. With each new treasure hunt, participants are invited to find a new Shard of the Flame, at the heart of a story inspired by local identity and heritage.

Haguenau: In Search of the Christmas Flame Shard!
This year, Haguenau is transforming into a veritable playground for adventurers of all ages!
As part of the Christmas festivities, set out to explore the city in search of the Alsatian Christmas Spark of the Flame.
But be careful… ever since the Spark arrived in Haguenau, a strange phenomenon has been occurring in the city’s streets.
Mysterious glowing roses have reportedly appeared all over the place, leaving behind valuable clues…

The Secret of the Five-Leaf Rose
To solve this mystery, adventurers must set out on the trail of the five-leaf rose, Haguenau’s historic emblem.
Armed with their game booklet, they’ll have to explore the city, observe their surroundings, solve a series of puzzles, collect symbols, and complete their game grid.
Their goal?
To discover the mysterious object capable of plucking the magical rose… and which will lead them to the Éclat de la Flamme!
An adventure full of mystery, discoveries, and magic—to be enjoyed with family, friends, or simply for the pleasure of rediscovering Haguenau in a whole new way.

An adventure for young and old alike
With puzzles, heritage, legends, and a magical atmosphere, this treasure hunt is the perfect opportunity to explore Haguenau in a new light and enjoy the magic of the Christmas festivities in Alsace.
How to participate?
The treasure hunt is available at the Haguenau Tourist Office.
This year, the traditional single booklet has been replaced by two complementary resources:
• The Adventurer’s Passport, to track your quest and set out in search of the “Éclats”;
• The game sheet, essential for solving the puzzles and advancing through the adventure.
And to reward the best treasure hunters…
Every participant receives a prize courtesy of the Haguenau Tourist Office!
